Transparently describing how we collect, use, and protect your data across KiX Services.
Last Updated: December 23, 2025
This Privacy Policy applies to any and all services, applications, platforms, websites, or other affiliated ventures offered by KiX and its affiliates. Throughout this Policy, "KiX" and "We" refer to KiX and its affiliates. "You" and "Users" refer to you, anyone who uses, subscribes to, publishes through, joins, or visits KiX.
By using KiX Services, you are giving express consent to the information handling practices described in this Policy. This Privacy Policy is also incorporated into and is subject to the KiX Terms of Use.
Through your use of KiX Services, the information below may be collected by KiX from time to time:
KiX uses the collected information to operate, maintain, enhance, and provide features; to track user-generated content; and to comply with applicable laws in Singapore. We may use your email for administrative communications (updates, security notices) and customer service. We also use data to understand usage trends, improve the look and feel of KiX, and create new features.
KiX does not share credit/debit card details or personally identifiable information for marketing without your consent. We may disclose anonymous, aggregate data to interested third parties to assist in understanding usage patterns. Limited user information may be shared with affiliated companies to improve services, under strict confidentiality agreements. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce Terms of Use, or to protect the safety of KiX and its users.
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and service workers) to keep KiX working, remember choices, and improve performance. Some technologies are set by us, and some may be set by service providers that help us operate KiX.
Managing cookies: You can control cookies through your browser settings (including blocking or deleting cookies). Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of KiX from working. For mobile devices, you can also reset or limit the use of your device advertising identifier through your device settings. You can also opt out of personalized ads in Google settings. Industry opt-out pages include AdChoices and Your Online Choices.
KiX uses third-party services to provide login, infrastructure, and performance monitoring. These providers may process personal data on our behalf (as service providers / data processors) or as separate controllers depending on the service.
We may update providers over time. When we add a new provider that materially changes how data is processed, we will update this policy and (where required) request consent.
If you are in the EEA/UK/Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases, depending on context:
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to: access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal data; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent); and (where applicable) data portability.
To exercise these rights, contact sghelp@KiX.com . We may ask you to verify your identity. We aim to respond within the time required by applicable law (often within 30 days). If you are in the EEA/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
This section applies to California residents. In the past 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as email address or account ID), internet or other electronic network activity (such as pages viewed and interaction data), approximate location derived from IP address, and account/profile information you provide.
Sources: Directly from you, from your device/browser, and from service providers that help us operate KiX (for example, authentication or performance monitoring).
Purposes: To operate KiX, provide features, secure the service, debug, improve performance, and comply with law.
Disclosures: We may disclose the categories above to service providers for business purposes (for example, hosting, authentication, and performance monitoring). We do not knowingly “sell” personal information. If we “share” information for cross-context behavioral advertising (for example, to deliver or measure ads), we will provide a “Do Not Sell or Share” opt-out mechanism as required by law.
Your California rights: You may request access, deletion, and correction; and you may opt out of sale/sharing if applicable. To submit a request, email sghelp@KiX.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request” or “Do Not Sell or Share”. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide KiX, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the type of data and how it is used. For example, account data is typically retained while your account is active; logs and security records may be retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting; and we may retain aggregated or de-identified data for analytics.
We use physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve data integrity. However, no system is 100% secure. If a breach occurs, we will notify you electronically so you can take protective steps.
KiX is not for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If discovered, such data will be deleted. Parents can contact us to terminate a child's account.
Information provided may be transferred outside your country (e.g., outside the EU) for use by KiX and its affiliates globally. By using the service, you consent to such transfers.
Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (for example, standard contractual clauses and supplementary measures) and limit access to those who need it to provide KiX.
